Me and the otter keeper get up to so many fun things you won't believe it

otter keeper helps me write a diary, I don't write it every day but when something really exciting happens to me and the otter keeper I do! otter keeper sometimes says I think things are exciting when they aren't, like when i found money under the sofa. i can't help it, i'm an otter so i find things very exciting

Sometimes otter keeper says the things I want to write don't really make sense and this makes me a little sad, but he usually helps me and we get it in the end.

Otter keeper says when i'm and old otter I will probably enjoy reading my diary to remember all the fun I had. But seeing as I can't really read ( unless I concentrate really REALLY hard) I think he will have to read it to me. You see, Otter keeper is quite important really

Kate Trap no.42

Trapping Kate - it's a hard job but someone has to do it. Today was a great day, Keeper was at work as usual and I was very busy practicing bouncing on the sofa whilst listening to my little cassette player, but then all of a sudden I had the greatest idea for a Kate Trap EVER!!

I put off the sofa bouncing until later (I usually get in trouble for that when otter keeper gets home anyway) and hurried to my top secret otter laboratory (this is the little room under the stairs where the hoover lives)

This is just the BEST KATE TRAP YET!, true I do need to borrow a lot of Otter Keeper's things but I'm sure once I've got kate trapped he will understand, and then he can have them back. Now all I need to do is refine a few details and then I can start building. By the way, this is TOP SECRET of course ... So don't tell anyone.....(especially Otter Keeper)

Shopping tragedy!!

SHOPPING is really really fun. Keeper sometimes takes me on the first day of the weekend which i think is Saturday. I have to wear my harness which gets annoying but Otter Keeper says I get too excited. I love to talk to all the people (although they can’t hear me because I’m an otter – but this doesn’t bother me really)

However shopping is also a bit annoying because Otter Keeper can be really mean! He won’t let me buy things. I have explained to him many times that I NEED certain things and it’s really IMPORTANT that he gets them for me. The last shopping trip he was particularly extra mean

You see, being an Otter I need lots of things I need otter feed, I need Otter Keeper, I also need free toys from cereal packets etc But one of the most important things an otter needs are Hannah Montana posters!! Whilst shopping I found a wonderful poster (I think it had been made especially for me to put on our wall next to my basket) but (and I still find this really hard to believe because the poster was REALLY good) Otter Keeper wouldn’t let me have it!!!!

This was a few days ago But I’m still really angry with him, How would he like it if he wasn’t allowed to buy things he needed! He’s gone to work now and although I miss him… I’m going to go and hide his slippers. I hope this will teach him a lesson, then he will take me to get the poster and I shall release the slippers unharmed.

I just don’t understand, Maybe Hannah Montana did something to make him angry? Surely he understands why we needed this poster. I just hope it’s still there next week once he has realised his mistake…

Sadness…

Sometimes I get very sad I’m generally a very happy otter and I try to be happy as much as possible but this just isn’t always possible for one main reason…… Otter Keeper has a job

Every morning when we wake up The first thing I do is ask Otter Keeper if it’s the weekend but most of the time it’s not and he has to go and do his job. He says his job is important because it pays for the house where we live and also things like otter feed and coffee, I try to understand but it’s quite confusing. Why does he have to leave me behind ???

I try to be as happy as possible while he’s gone But the problem is I really REALLY miss the Otter Keeper. To feel better I have some photo’s of him I can look at and he’s also made me a special clock. When the little hand gets to the bit he showed me it means he will be home soon. If I hide under my blanket and don’t look at the clock it actually goes faster, so I try to do this lots and I’m getting quite good at it!

But the thing I MUST NOT DO is use the phone to call him at work. There’s a special button I can press if there is an emergency but he says missing him, feeling sad or telling him how much I love him isn’t an emergency?

Birds, I HATE BIRDS! (almost as much as Kate)

Going to the park is usually really fun, But the other day it really wasn’t. Otter Keeper takes me to the park sometimes as a treat. Parks are really quite good if you are an otter and don’t have a garden (like me)

To start off with the park was brilliant, It was very hot and I enjoyed looking at things. The park is a wonderful place, if you haven’t been you really should go! Me and otter keeper found an old man eating his sandwiches on a bench. Otter keeper said I probably shouldn’t bother him but I don’t always listen to the otter keeper! He was a very nice old man, I mostly told him all about the Otter Keeper and all the fun we have together.

The old man let me sit with him. But that’s WHEN THE BIRDS CAME! keeper said they wanted my sandwiches. I tried to explain to them that my lunch was for otters only and showed them my name on my little otter lunchbox. They didn’t listen. I was very upset. I told Otter Keeper I didn’t want to go back to the park for at least 4 days. Keeper said that was probably a good thing because I had annoyed the old man?

Terrible news, otter Keeper has a cold !!!

Otter Keeper is Ill, He says he has a Cold. I didn’t know what a cold was so I asked him. He said a cold was where you felt a bit poorly, had a blocked up nose and lots of pressure in your head. I said I thought I had a cold too. Otter keeper said I was probably just thinking too hard because I was confused about colds. I shut my eyes and tired to stop thinking. The pressure in my head did go away, So I guess I don’t have a cold after all.

To help with his cold Otter keeper made a little tent with a tea towel on top of a bowl. I think when you have a cold it must make you do really fun things like this. I decided I quite liked it when otter keeper has a cold because I loved going inside the tent with him!
