This is so beautiful. Finding this amongst the dross on the internet is like finding a rainbow or a – well, like finding a baby otter in a cardboard box I imagine. This site belongs in the Favourites of anyone who looks after children.

Totally entranced. Mrs John is wrapping Christmas presents tonight, which I’m not allowed to do, so she’s made me play nice tunes for her on the computer, pour her cider (and me); and then I found Otter’s house, all donated by Otter Keeper, to walk around. What’s *underneath* the house is amazing too, when you find it. It goes very well with Nick Drake’s records if you like that sort of thing. Can’t wait for the books. Grown-ups and children and those odd people in the middle will all get them.
